Shextreme Pop Up
After our main film festival every October, we love to pop up again and say hello ello!
2018: SHEXTREME INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY POP UP
On 8th March 2018, we are cinematically celebrating awesome women in adventure at Croyde Deckchair Cinema in Devon.
From wild swimming to S.U.P., our action-packed film programme is a fundraiser for wonderful charity Wave Project helping transform young people's lives through surfing.
Contact Croyde Deckchair Cinema directly to book your colourful deckchair in advance.
2017: SHEXTREME FILM TOUR IN THE SOUTH WEST
Beyond delighted to announce, we are going on tour this October! Supported by BFI Film Audience Network, Shextreme will be showcasing our very best cinematic highlights on a big screen at
the Lighthouse Cinema in Newquay on 12th October.
Alongside our empowering film programme, inspiring guest speaker Cal Major will be joining us from Paddle Against Plastic UK for a live Q & A sharing expert advice and insights on her latest environmental adventure: solo SUP-ing around the Isle of Skye!
2017: CLIMBING POP UP
In March 2017, we indulged our love for all things climbing with our pop up for women climbers at Redpoint Climbing Centre in Bristol.
2016: Shextreme French Alps Film Tour: Chamonix
We showcased inspiring women in action sports and adventure on the big screen at MBC in Chamonix to a packed house of mountain lovers.
To continue to spread the good word about active women in adventure, that night we also held an interview panel with Heather Swift: Founder of Women's Mountain Collective and the awesome Mary Kay athlete Kat Follows.
Then we danced the night away to live original music from Cab Collective!
2016: Shextreme French Alps Film Tour: TIGNES AND MERIBEL.
We then adventured across the French Alps to our last two film tour stops bringing inspiring female film content to big crowds in Doran's in Meribel and Loop Bar in Tignes.
In Meribel, we were delighted to have incredible GB's no. 1 ski cross athlete Emily Sarsfield introduce our empowering Shextreme film screening followed by live art from Aidy Brooks and late night tunes.
In Tignes, Squash Falconer was pure inspiration during our live interview before our Shextreme film screening and we had all the fun dancing to Too Many T's to complete the Shextreme tour with a bang!
